Rustic Beauty Registry Inspiration from Target + SMP

We’ve introduced you to our exciting collaboration with Target, where we have been playing hostess and living out our dream registries, one editor at a time. First up was Abby. C and her glittering take on Prep Chic and now we’re diving whole heartedly into Rustic Beauty. If you’re anything like me, Target is your go-to for everything from toothpaste to cocktail dresses. That’s part of the beauty of this brand we love so much and even more so now that they’re carving out a big, big name for themselves in the registry world.

Since Target’s Wedding Registry is chock full of SO much goodness, we thought it’d be fun to play a little game. We’ve paired some of our leading SMP ladies with their own unique style sense in order to really embrace this fantastic new program. And because we just couldn’t help ourselves, we took it a little further and went total party mayhem designing the most fabulous events around said must-have items. And, if you know us at all by now, you’ll know that we also threw in some top notch DIY’s, you know, for good measure. It’s all coming up later today!

Now it’s time to cozy on up to our beloved Libby and her lovable husband Jim. Libby is our Director of Advertising at Style Me Pretty, and one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Hands down.

Libby… she’s a lover of cozy, folksy decor and everything burlap. She refers to her style as “granny-chic” and her home is filled to the brim with antiques from local flea markets. When she’s not antiquing, you can find her hosting parties for her and her husband’s large family. Also on her love list? Her favorite fur baby, Lily, who is just as much a part of the family. Her registry includes plenty of family style serving ware.

Jim… the man’s man who hasn’t met an outdoor space he doesn’t love. He is in his element outside, biking, hiking, doing yard work, chopping wood, skiing, golfing – you name it, he’s happily partaking in it all while wearing plaid. He is also a master on the guitar which pairs swimmingly with late night campfire sessions.

Now put those two personalities together and set them loose in Target’s Wedding Catalog and the result is a mix of pieces that they can’t live without. Not only that, but pieces that will truly stand the test of time. These are a beautiful combination of Libby’s love for classic antiques and Jim’s outdoorsman sensibilities.
